Counties Cross Country!

On Tuesday the 6th September 10 students from Reremoana School represented Central Counties at the Counties Cross Country Tournament at Paparimu School in the Hunua Ranges. The year 7athletes ran a 3km race and the year 8 athletes ran even further. This was not a usual race you run at school. It was tough and hard. Luckily we trained every morning for 6 weeks with Mr Fourie. This helped us to as well as we did.  

The results: Kate 4th, Georgia 10th, Jess 13th, Jacob 11th, Sam 4th, Zac 8th. The top 10 from every race will go to Auckland Champs on the 15th September. 

To make it into Auckland Champs means the world to me. I’ve trained hard to achieve my goal and I did. I hope to do very well at the Auckland Championships.

Maori Language!

In Maori language this term we learnt to greet each other in Maori. We learnt to answer by saying what mood we are in.
We also learned the days of the week and can now say any day in Maori language. Example Friday is Ramere.
We also learned to count up to 10 and will now learn to count to 20 as well.
